Our small albeit well-equipped craft workshop and studio is located in the town of Glenrothes in Fife, Eastern Scotland. As the interactive map below illustrates perfectly, we're located in an ideal position roughly equidistant from the cities of Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee whilst our normal sphere of business activity rarely extends beyond these boudaries. Much of our work originates from the main population centres of Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline and where most of the regional population resides but we do cover St. Andrews, Cupar, Leven and the East Neuk too.
By all means, feel free to visit and bring your heirlooms and furnishings to our workshop for professional advice as regards any repair, restoration and recommendations without charge or obligation of any kind but please call ahead lest we are engaged in a project requiring our presence on site. Please ensure that all items taken to the Polishing Shop are carefully wrapped for the purposes of transit and examination and where adequate insurance provision exists in the event of any accidental damage during the visit. The decision to visit the Polishing Shop for evaluation is completely bourne in entirety by the visitor at his or her own discretion and risk. We reserve the right to take photographs during the evaluation process and where all estimates assumes a similar condition at the time of the estimate. Naturally, the Polishing Shop cannot accept liability for any transit damage no matter how it was caused. The estimate assumes that the item submitted for restoration and repair is received in a similar condition as seen during the initial inspection. If the customer asks that we undertake the issue of transport to and from our premises then we can call at your address and provide this service at an additional charge and subject to the limits and rules of our liability insurance cover.
